Miriam Pineles is a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine- Acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Medicine, certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and licensed in Acupuncture by the State of NY.  Miriam graduated from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City with a Master’s degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM).  She has also studied Five-Element Acupuncture at the Tai Sophia Institute in Laurel, Maryland.   Miriam received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania with a focus in Women’s Health and Body Image.

Miriam is a Certified Doula and works with women through pregnancy, labor, delivery, and post-partum.  She is committed to helping women achieve a fertile mind and body in the most natural way possible and assisting them in creating a pleasurable and healthy birth experience.  Miriam is passionate about educating women about their options in fertility and labor/delivery so that they may choose the best options for their health and well-being.
